Until recently, the only options for the paper inside of books at amazon was white or cream.
But they've just unveiled a new one, called groundwood. It's cream-ish and lighter in weight--some readers call the books "floppy". This new paper is a little cheaper, ships more cheaply, and is better for the environment. (I'm going to guess that it smells better as well, but I haven't tried that yet). That seemed like a good fit for the Keita's Wings series! Keita's nature powers are a huge part of the books, so I thought she would appreciate the more natural paper. Plus, the KW books used to be bright white, which I only found out later is not what you want for novels. I wasn't able to change them on amazon until now. So if you were waiting to get paperback copies the Keita's Wings series, now is a great time!
Also, I accidentally printed the middle DreamRovers book with white paper, while books 1 and 3 were cream. This change opened up choices again, so I was able to make the full trilogy match with cream paper!
Has anyone purchased any groundwood paper books (mine or someone elses)? Let me know how they turn out!
